HOTEL CHECK-IN
Most hotels allow check-in to take place during the mid-afternoon. As a service, RT will make hotel reservations before or after your tour on a space available basis upon request. These hotel charges will be added to your tour cost. Please ask RT for details and prices. Requests for early check-in based on hotel availability cannot be guaranteed and are at the sole discretion of the hotel.
ROOM UPGRADES/SPECIAL REQUESTS
Room upgrades are typically available on request at individual hotels for an additional cost. Please ask RT for details and prices. Specific requests such as adjacent or connecting rooms, bedding requests, smoking rooms and special dietary needs should be advised at time of booking. Please note that reasonable efforts will be made to secure special requests; however, they cannot be guaranteed. Deviations from published tour itineraries (such as, but not limited to, travel dates and gateways) may include additional costs from our suppliers. Travelers not traveling on designated arrival or departure dates must arrange their own transportation to or from the airport and hotel.
ITINERARY CHANGES AND FLEXIBILITY
RT pledges to make every effort to operate all experiences as advertised. Travelers should be flexible as situations may arise that necessitate changes or exceptions to the itinerary. RT reserves the right to modify program itineraries, including arranged sightseeing and featured specialists, and substitute accommodations, including vessels, aircraft and trains, at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond RT’s control. Due to the nature of cruising and/or railway components of tours, itineraries are for guidance purposes only and may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, wildlife, ice, medical emergencies and other conditions beyond RT’s control and rights to make changes are at the sole discretion of the cruise line/railway companies. RT will make every effort to notify you as early as possible of such changes.
AIR TRANSPORTATION
International airfare (to the tour starting point and from the ending point) is not included in program pricing. Some tours require internal flights as specified in the itinerary. This airfare is typically included, and RT will purchase on your behalf. There may be instances where this airfare in not included and will require traveler to purchase separately and is in addition to the tour. All internal air is based on economy class seating and is 100% non-refundable at time of final payment (some exceptions may apply). Flight confirmation is based on availability. Air reservations cannot be confirmed until a passport copy is received by RT.
All air carriers are independent contractors and are not owned, managed, controlled or operated by RT. Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between yourself and the airlines (and not RT), even if purchased through RT. RT shall not be liable and does not assume responsibility for or accept claims with regard to seat assignments, name changes, schedule changes, flight changes and/or cancellations. Should you change or cancel your air transportation arrangements before or after your travel begins, all airline change and cancellation fees will apply.
In the event of a flight delay, you must work directly with the airline to be rebooked. Once your new flight is confirmed, you must then notify RT with your new arrival time. If you are arriving later than your original scheduled flight, you may not be met by a RT representative at the airport. In this case, you will need to arrange your own transportation from the airport to your hotel. Persons missing tour portions or components (including, but not limited to, meals, excursions, or sightseeing tours) due to flight delays or cancellations will not be refunded by RT or be eligible for a change of return date.
BAGGAGE
RT provides porterage of up to two (2) pieces of baggage per person upon arrival destination and final destination of the itinerary. Please note should your tour include internal/domestic or charter flights, your luggage allowance may be less than two (2) pieces of baggage and weight/size restrictions and additional costs may apply.
Details will be provided in your pre-travel documentation. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the travel program, and RT assumes no liability for lost or damaged baggage. Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions and fees applicable to your international flights.
PRICES AND ARRANGEMENTS
Quoted Experience prices are per person, double occupancy except where indicated. Although not expected, published prices may be modified due to unexpected significant external factors not forecasted at the time of publishing. RT is under no obligation to give a breakdown in costs of any tour. Pre- and post-tour extensions are only available to guests booked on related group tours. Modification of program content to accommodate group size will not affect the published program price.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Once you have indicated that you would like to reserve an Experience with us, we will proceed to take payment and issue you with a booking confirmation. A binding contract between us and you (the lead name on the booking) is only formed when we issue you a booking confirmation after having received payment from you, in cleared funds, of either the required deposit or the full price of your experience (depending on when the booking is made relative to the intended departure date). By making the booking, you accept that you have the authority to bind all members of your party to these terms and conditions and you take responsibility as the lead name on the booking to make payment and to receive documentation on behalf of your party.
Upon receiving the booking confirmation, please check that all names are the same as the relevant passport, that dates and timings and all other elements of your trip are correct. Where this is not done and there is an unreasonable delay in notifying us of any apparent discrepancies in the confirmed arrangements, you will be responsible for any additional charges that may arise due to alterations that have to be made to the booking.
Please note that all payments taken on debit or credit card will be taken in US Dollar and so if you are a traveler whose payment card is not denominated in USD, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction. You are responsible for any bank charges that may be incurred. Payments can be made by check, bank transfer, debit or credit card. In all cases, a booking will not be confirmed until we are in receipt of cleared funds. For your peace of mind, all card payments are encrypted using the internationally accepted security system, SSL. Revenge Travel accepts all major credit cards.
In all cases, in order to make a booking, a deposit will be required. The amount of deposit varies depending on the nature of your trip and will be confirmed to you before you book. The final payment is due 90 days (120 days for cruises and select experiences) in advance of the intended departure date unles otherwise noted. If the booking is made less than 90 days (120 days for cruises and select experiences) before departure, the full price of the trip will be payable on booking. Your booking confirmation will advise the final payment due date. If, following the payment of a deposit at the time of booking, any balance is remaining after final due date, we reserve the right not to issue travel documentation and treat your booking as cancelled. In such circumstances, cancellation charges will be applied as set out in Cancellation section below.

For all cruises and select experiences (outlined in tour description), final payment is due 120 days prior to departure.

These include amongst other costs but not limited to fees charged by hotels and travel suppliers to RT for cancelled bookings.
Partial Room Cancellation:
If a traveler cancels or leaves a tour and a roommate remains, an additional supplement may apply to the price for the remaining guest.

CANCELLATION BY RT
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any departure for any reason. If we cancel, except in the case of Force Majeure as detailed below, we will offer alternate arrangements. We may at our sole discretion offer travel vouchers or refunds in accordance with our cancellation policy above. You are responsible for any additional costs for air tickets or other travel arrangements not made by us.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES & CONDUCT
The pacing and physical requirements of RT tours vary by itinerary. Itineraries may have active elements incorporated into them that may require a minimum level of fitness, minimum age or minimum/maximum height or weight to participate. We recommend that you select a tour that is suitable to your physical capabilities. If you or any member of your party have any disability, reduced mobility or medical condition, it is extremely important that you tell us before you book so we can ensure that the travel experience you are interested in is appropriate to and safe for your needs. RT will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a disability-related request for accommodation. However, if RT, in its sole discretion, is unable to properly accommodate the need of the person(s) concerned or believes that health and safety may be compromised, RT reserves the right to decline participation. The traveler represents that neither he nor she nor anyone travelling with him or her has any disability, reduced mobility or medical condition that could create a hazard to him/herself or other members of the tour. RT also reserves the right to remove from the tour, at the traveler’s own expense, anyone whose physical condition or conduct negatively impacts the enjoyment of the other guests or disrupts the tour. All health and mobility information will be used only to advise you in relation to your booking options and for passing to suppliers of your travel experience in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
PASSPORTS, VISAS & OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to obtain a valid passport, any visas, other travel documents and verifying and satisfying any entry requirements necessary for each country of travel on your itinerary, including any required medical documents, testing, or proof of vaccinations (including any need to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination). Non US Citizens should contact the appropriate consular office for entry requirements pertaining to their journey. A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens travelling to all international destinations. LIMITS ON REVENGE TRAVEL’S RESPONSIBILITY
Neither Revenge Travel nor its parent company, affiliates, or subsidiaries, nor any of their respective employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, representatives, agents and assigns (collectively the “RT Parties”), owns or operates any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your tour. RT purchases transportation (by aircraft, coach, train, vessel or otherwise), hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers (including from time to time other affiliated RT companies). All such persons and entities are independent contractors. All tour services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier of such service and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. The passage contract (Conditions of Carriage), when issued by the airlines concerned, shall constitute the sole contract between such airlines and the traveler. As a result, the RT Parties are not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or of any third person.
In addition and without limitation, the RT Parties are not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
There are many inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here, which can lead to illness, injury, or even death. These risks are increased by the fact that these trips take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities. Traveler assumes all such risks associated with participating in these trips.
If you decide to participate in any activities including, but not limited to, any excursions involving animals, riding on animals, scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, ziplining, high altitude treks, climbing, quad biking, parasailing, parachuting, kayaking, whitewater rafting, jet boat rides, snowmobiling, primate tracking and any other activity which RT considers to carry inherent risk of serious illness, injury or death (“Activities”), then you fully understand and acknowledge that Activities carry with them various inherent risks, including serious illness, injury or death and you take complete responsibility for your own health and safety and agree to assume all risks of injury, illness or death, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may befall you as a result of participating in any Activities and agree to release the RT Parties from any liability whatsoever related thereto.
Further, as consideration for being permitted to participate in the Activities; you release the RT Parties, whether known or unknown, from, and agree not to bring suit or make claim against the RT Parties for, property damage, cancellation of any Activities for any reason, illness, negligent rescue operations or procedures, personal injury, or death arising out of your participation in the Activities, and any activity related thereto, including transportation to and from the site of the Activities, regardless of whether such property damage, illness, personal injury, or death results from the negligence of the RT Parties and/or from any defect in equipment. You further agree to indemnify and hold the RT Parties harmless with respect to any claim made against the RT Parties by anyone else which (a) related to your participation in any tour or any Activities, or (b) which would be subject to the above release and covenant not to bring suit if you had made the claim directly yourself. Upon receipt of notice of the assertion of a claim, the RT Parties reserve the right to approve, or withdraw approval of, counsel, in its sole discretion.
TRAVEL ADVISORIES/WARNINGS
It is the responsibility of the traveler to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U.S. State Department or his/her respective government agencies. In the event of an active State Department or government agency travel warning against travel to the specific destination(s) on a tour, should the traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory, the traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, to the Limits on Revenge Travel’s Responsibility clause, to any RT advertisement or to any information regarding any RT experience, service or package, or to any RT-related tour, activity, service or package, shall be settled in the first instance by binding arbitration before one (1) arbitrator in Stamford, CT. Any party or their representative may appear for the arbitration by telephone or video conference. Each party shall bear its own fees, costs and expenses and an equal share of any arbitrator and administrative fees; however, the prevailing party shall be entitled to full recovery of all such costs and fees. In no event shall RT be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive all rights to punitive damages.
